YOUTH OFF TO A WIN

BANGOR YOUTH 26 – 10 WHARFEDALE

Bangor youth team had a good start to the season with a win against touring team Wharfedale RUFC. The game was played in good spirits with both teams playing an expansive attacking game.

Bangor came out as winners, the final score being 26-10. BANGOR tries coming from Tomos Davies (2), James Andrew and Adam Kempton with three excellent conversions by Jac Thomas.

The game was curtailed slightly early due to an injury to the Wharfedale winger. After some medical attention he was well enough to return with the team and we wish him well with his recovery.

Bangor have their first league game next weekend home against Nant Conwy.

The team trains on Wednesday evenings and always welcome new players. If you’ve recently moved to the area or are about to start at Bangor University contact or want to return to rugby, contact the Club Secretary on rhysmdavies@gmail.com
