Bangor v Mold

It was a dissapointing Saturday with the Youth Team game called off again by their opponents and the mens team were up against league leader Mold. Bangor were a much better team than the score line suggests (6 - 53) and they started the game with great intent rocking Mold back from the kick off but despite all the pressure they came away with just a penalty from full back Harry Powell Jones. Mold then showed how things would be with the quicker backs getting the ball and scoring the first try. Undeterred Bangor went on the offensive again and added another penalty. Despite creating scoring chances throughout the game Bangor could not get over the try line but held the visitors to 17 points at half time. As the game wore on Mold got more ball and ran riot with it in hand. Bangor are still pointless at the bottom of the league but the spirit and determination they showed should get them results soon.
