Bangor could not take advantage of their win last week and drop back to second from bottom after losing 7 - 22 to Rhyl and District. The Citizens scored after forcing play to the visitors 22 m  they recycled the ball to the blind side and Celvin Williams tapped the ball into corner for winger Gwyn Hughes to score. Outside half Tom Belt converted from the touchline. With 5 forwards missing due to injury Bangor were dismayed to lose Captain Ryan Butler with a knee injury and most of the game was spent stoutly defending and the visitors added a penalty and a converted try to put them up 7 - 10 at the interval. The second half was largely spent defending with a few forays but Rhyl added two more tries and a conversion.

The youth team were very unlucky losing their Welsh Plate game 7 - 8 to visitors Nelson from South Wales. Bangor thought they had a good try disallowed but took the lead with a converted try in the second half then Nelson added a try of their own to an earlier penalty.
