SUNDAY MARCH 18th 2007
Bangor were missing seven key players as a result of injuries in recent games and looked like taking a real beating when they let in two soft early tries first on the right wing and then on the left wing. Although they pulled themselves together and showed some resistance poor tackling and disorganised back defence let the visitors in for two more to make the half time score 0 - 20. The coaches must have said something to fire them up during the break because they came out firing on all cylinders for the first time and soon got on the score sheet with a fine team try finished off by Jack Latham. When they scored again with an excellent try from scrum half Meurig Thomas converted by Jonni Hughes, they were right back in the game and looked like taking it. They lost some momentum when Rhyl struck back with two tries to widen the gap but a try from Llyr Roberts with a Hughes conversion gave them some hope but Rhyl hung on and scored a second converted try right at the death.

SUNDAY MARCH 11th 2007
Bangor played against the strong wind in the first half and defended courageously. The home side attempted to out play the visitors in the close game with quick phases out but
The majority of the second half was spend in the Colwyn Bay’s half with dominate play by the Bangor’s forwards releasing the backs with positive movement but unfortunately not finishing several excellent chances. Pressure continued by the forwards, several strong key ball carriers Craig Roberts, Rodri Thomas, Gwion Bowen and Martyn Hughes present throughout created more chances that led to several tries. Mark Gray got his second try receiving the final pass from Olu Pyrasse, unsuccessfully converted by Jonni Hughes.
Bangor's forwards now provided quick quality ball to the backs who started playing with confidence. Will Jones scored two tries in quick succession. Outside half Jonni Hughes created good opportunities for his centres Darren Brace and Llyr Roberts with strong running and support they produced a well worked try with winger
Colwyn Bay benefited from a Bangor error to gain a well-worked try by the forwards and a unsuccessful conversion, but
Bangor’s performance was good but need to work on several identified areas of their game prior to next week’s home game against Rhyl but in general the coaching staff were pleased with the younger players who really came of age playing with senior players who progress to Bangor’s youth development squad at the end of the season.
UNDER 15'S
Bangor ran in four tries in the first half with the wind and rain driving at their backs. Llyr Roberts opened the scoring with a fine run to the try line and then did it again soon after. Iwan Roberts then ran in two tries. Joni Hughes converted three of the tries.
The second half saw the visitor regroup and they come close to scoring a few times and they only let Bangor in once with a try scored by Michael Royston-Roberts.

Although missing three top players, Joni Hughes, Olu Peyrasse and Carwyn Milburn who were representing North Wales, Bangor turned in a powerful performance to comprehensively gain revenge over arch rivals Llandudno. Winger Wil Jones opened the scoring after collecting a wayward kick and storming down the wing for a fine try. Centre Llyr Roberts added the second again after collecting a stray kick.
Llandudno struck back in the second half with an excellent try from the backs and looked like getting on top but Bangor kept their heads and struck back with a try from Darren Brace. The next try came from a dropped pass and after a few fly kicks centre Nick Blyth dropped on the ball. Blyth scored again from the centre and finally Jack Latham finished off a power run from Martin Hughes.

BANGOR 0 - NANT CONWY 0
SUNDAY DECEMBER 10th
Terrible weather prevented open play and both teams did best when playing against the wind and rain. Bangor dominated the first half and Nant dominated the second half but neither side were able to cross the line. The pick of the bunch for Bangor were scrum half Iwan Roberts, hooker Rhodri Thomas and fly half Darren Brace. The forwards did well to keep the game tight especially when playing against the weather.

PWLLHELI 10 - BANGOR 17
SUNDAY DECEMBER 2nd
Despite the strong wind both teams put on a good entertaining display with Pwllheli making better use of the wind with intelligent kicking. Bangor ran out winners by three tries to two. The first try was the result of a brilliant effort from winger Llyr Roberts followed by a good forward try from Martin Hughes. Iwan Roberts came on as substitute in the second half replacing Meurig Thomas and put in some crunching tackles. Bangor's third try came after a good handling move in the backs with Wil Jones getting the touch down. Cameron Kelly came close with two difficult conversions and Darren Brace succeeded with his attempt.

BANGOR 28 - COLWYN BAY 7
Opening the tournament in which all three teams played each other in games lasting 20 minutes each way, Bangor soon goon the score board when centre Wil Jones powered through for a fine try. Mark Gray rounded off a neat move in which the ball passed along the entire back division. Colwyn Bay responded with a break out try from their centre who ran in from 50 meters.
In the second half Bangor scored two more tries from Cameron Kelly and Olu Perasse. Joni Hughes was the star kicker converting all four tries from the touch line.
BANGOR 19 - CAERNARFON 5
The second game of the morning turned out to be a scrappier affair and Bangor failed to impress until Nick Blyth broke through for a try. Craig Roberts added the second try. Joni Hughes's magnificent conversion from the touch line rounded off a perfect performance. In the second half Caernarfon seemed to have the upper hand and closed the gap with an unconverted try. When Caernarfon dropped the ball in the backs, Nick Blyth was on hand to hack the ball up field twice and then gather it in his hands to score a try.

The latest was St. Bridget's from Dublin and in an evenly contested game St. Bridget's made the most of their chances with three tries, one conversion and one penalty. SATURDAY APRIL 22nd
2006BANGOR 12 - PENTYRCH 31
In this second game of a series of visits from touring teams, Bangor found their visitors from Cardiff a much tougher proposition than the previous game against Narberth. Pentyrch won the game through a better defence and better finishing. Bangor were on top for much of the game and had many scoring chances being held up over the try line twice in the first half. They turned down the chance to convert several penalties opting instead for the touch line but they never made the visitors pay. Pentyrch broke away twice in the first half and scored tries with superb conversions adding to the score they led 0 - 14 at half time.
The visitor added to the score with another try after the restart then Bangor at last got the ball to ground with left winger Edem Barnor-Ahaiku finishing off the move. Jonni Hughes made a superb conversion from the touch line. Pentyrch replied with another try but Bangor never gave up and again turned down chances of kicking penalty goals. They finally got over from a 5 meter linout with Joseph Starling getting the ball down. Pentyrch got the last score.

Bangor went further ahead on the restart when Olu Peyrasse drove over from a linout and Cameron Kelly converted to give Bangor a 12 point lead. Pwllheli finished strong and narrowed the lead with a converted try and when Gwilym Jones crossed in the last minute a conversion would have won the game but a draw was probably a fair result.
