BANGOR 22 - SEDGELEY PARK 20
SATURDAY APRIL 29th 2006
Bangor only fielded 13 players due to communication problems with some of the team but Sedgeley Park sportingly made up the numbers by lending two players. Bangor went into the lead halfway through the first half with a superb try by winger Llyr Roberts in the corner with a great conversion from outside half Jonni Hughes. They increased the lead to 12 with another great try from Llyr Roberts with the move starting in their own half of the field.
The second half saw the visitors bring on fresh legs who were clearly their main players and they quickly got on the score sheet with a fine try after throwing the ball wide. They followed this up with another try when one of their large forwards crashed through the defence. They then took the lead with an orthodox passing move to put their winger in at the corner. It looked all over for Bangor but the tourist lived to regret their lack of a goal kicker when Jonni Hughes pulled the score level again with a well struck penalty. The visitors produced another wingers try to retake the lead by five points and the game seemed to be over but Bangor struck at the death when Jonni Hughes kicked overhead and the defenders fumbled the ball allowing scrum half Wil Jones to get the touch down. With the score level and the last move called, Jonni Hughes produced the kick of the game coolly striking the ball between the uprights from the touch line for the extra two points that brought victory.
DUBLIN TOURNAMENT 2006 at St. COLUMBA
Under 14's progression
First Round Bangor 7 - Birkenhead 13
The game was affected by adverse weather conditions. Bangor were slow starters and were shocked by the sudden onslaught of Birkenhead. Bangor played an intelligent second half with a tight game and dominated then possession. They were unable to rescue the game due to the limited time of 15 minutes per half.
SECOND Round Bangor 0 - HIGH SCHOOL 12
Bangor were the much better team throughout the game creating chances but yet again unable to convert pressure into points. High School had two break away tries and one conversion.
THIRD ROUND BANGOR 17 - St. COLUMBA 3
Bangor's lesson's of past games were immediately implemented by steam rolling the opposition orchestrated by several key players. A complete efficient performance by all individuals meant that Bangor ended the day with high spirits which is indicated by several of the pictures.

BANGOR 27 - CAERNARFON 3
ERYRI UNDER 14'S CUP FINAL
SUNDAY MAY 8th 2005
Bangor got off to a nervous start when Caernarfon slotted over an early penalty. Play was fairly even with both cut and thrust from both sides. Bangor broke the stalemate with a great individual effort from flanker Olu Perrasse storming down the wing for a try and then repeating the performance with another just before half time.
In the second half Bangor grew in confidence but never found Caernarfon easy to break. Centre Wil Jones ran in another try after two quick tap penalties rocked Caernarfon back in defence. Soon after a superb bout of handling put Wil Jones in again under the posts and fly half Jonni Hughes converted. Bangor wrapped the game up with a final try from Olu Perrasse in the corner to complete his hat trick.

BANGOR 81 - HARLECH 0
ERYRI UNDER 14'S CUP SEMI FINAL
SUNDAY APRIL 10th 2005
Bangor overwhelmed their visitors by running in 8 tries in the first half and 5 in the second. Bangor's ball skills were superb for the age group. Their confident accurate passing, safe hands and speed around the field was too much for their brave opponents to cope with. Among the scorers were Jonni Hughes, Wil Jones, Andy Lloyd-Williams, Martin Hughes and Olu Perrasse (apologies to those I missed). Jonni Hughes turned in a splendid performance with his goal kicking and converted 8 tries. The team must now wait to see who they meet in the final which should be a much closer game.

UNDER 14's TOURNAMENT APRIL 2003
The under 14's Tournament was held on Sunday April 13th. Ruthin beat Denbigh in the final and Dolgellau beat Nant Conwy in the plate competition. Bangor just failed to reach the plate competition. They drew with Denbigh; both sides scoring one try each. Bangor's try was scored by Dominic Yau. Bangor just failed to go through because they had conceded 14 tries overall and scored 12 tries so they just missed out through try difference.
